THE BROODING SPIRIT
“The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

The imagery is that of a mother hen BROODING over a nest of young.
“. . . under His wings shall thou trust.”
~Psalm 91:4
“Whose wings thou art come to trust?”
~Ruth 2:12
Consider now the words of JESUS:
“How often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings.”
~Matthew 23:37
